House incorporating shop. Early C19. Painted rendered stone rubble and some cob.
Slate roof with rendered stack at right end shared with Homeleigh House (q.v.),
adjoining to right.
Plan: 1-room-wide, 2 rooms deep plan with a framed staircase in the centre, the
passage to the left of front room used as shop leading directly to stairhall and rear
parlour. Kitchen in 2-storey rear outshot.
Exterior: 3 storeys. Single 4 paned sash to each of the upper storeys. Brick
plinth to canted shop window with 2 large front panes, and plain fascia continued over
doorway to left with overlight.
Interior: Raised and fielded dado panelling to rear wall of shop. Horizontal
boarded dado panelling to parlour. C19 joinery largely intact with raised and
fielded 2 panelled doors to the principal chambers.
