Nos. 6, 7 and 8 (including 52 Northumberland Street) with attached wall

Terrace of houses, C19 conversion of C18 granary. Squared stone front,
roughly-squared stone at rear; cut dressings. Welsh slate roof with various
brick stacks. 2 storeys + attics, west part on basement, 15 irregular bays.
From left to right: 52 Northumberland Street has flush-panelled basement door;
8 Prospect Place has similar door, in chamfered surround, beneath stone
external stair to blocked doorway; inserted window, boarded basement door and
6-panel door at right end. No. 7 has renewed 4-panel door and No. 6 has
renewed glazed door. 52 Northumberland Street and 8 Prospect Place have some
12-and 16-pane sash windows, with 4-pane sashes and casements in smaller
openings; most openings in block surrounds, including low blocked attic
windows directly beneath eaves. Nos. 7 and 6 have plain sashes, mostly in
chamfered surrounds. No. 8 has late C19 canted wood oriel; No. 7 has C19 bay
and No. 6 has C20 oriel. Seven late C19 and C20 dormers. Raised reverse-
stepped gable copings; end and 4 ridge stacks.

Left return of 52 Northumberland Street: Basement renewed door to right of
shop front with panelled pilasters, moulded frieze, and cornice on cusped
brackets. 12-pane sash and blocked window above, 4-pane casements to 1st
floor and plain windows to attic; all upper windows in small C18 openings.

Rear elevation, to churchyard, shows sashes and small casements; many blocked
openings. At left end a short attached wall holds moulded lancet removed from
church chancel when south chapel added in 1880.
