Mausoleum: Price family, 1860; ashlar stone walls and roof.
Greek cross, arms with little projection, corners infilled on splay
at bottom: single storey. Moulded plinth all round: entrance
doorway up one' stone step; marble column each side, trefoil head
to arch within, pointed moulded arch over columns with ballflower,
hoodmould with leaf stops. Wrought-iron gate fills openings:
leaves to ends of scrolls. Crocketed gable over with leaf finial.
Either side slight set back: plinth carried across corner on
splay, sunk trefoil in stone gablet immediately above, stonework
sloping back above into corner. Moulded eaves: similar gables
each side, finial missing on right: roof 5 courses stone, serrated
section. In centre square base, broaches to octagonal stem above,
ballflower moulding to base of crocketed spirelet, leaf finial.
Blind, 2-light window in ends, trefoil heads to lights, leaf
carving in tall quatrefoil over. Stained glass in window opposite
door.
Interior: Minton tile floor, plinth, corner columns, moulded
frieze, ribbed stone vault with floriate central boss. Inscription
to Frances, widow of W. Price, died 1860; 2 later inscriptions.
Marked on 1864 map of estate in Tibberton Estate Office.
