Gateway spanning road to north of Craster Tower
(formerly listed as Gateway at Craster Tower)

Ornamental gateway. Late C18. Whinstone rubble with cut sandstone quoins,
dressings and parapet. Gothick style. Four-centred arch with square impost
band; cruciform loop above flanked by quatrefoil loops. Hollow-chamfered
string below embattled parapet. Returns shows similar band, string and
parapet. Lower flat-coped rear wall with central gateway but no arch.
