NU 20 NW WARKWORTH LOW BUSTON

House. Late C17 or early C18 possibly incorporating earlier fabric; rear
outshut later C18 altered C20. Roughly-squared stone with cut dressings;
outshut partly brick. C20 pantile roof.

2 storeys, 1 + 3 bays. Right part has centre top-glazed flush-panelled door
in wave-moulded surround with concave chamfer stops; sunk lintel panel bore
date, now illegible. Renewed 16-pane sash windows, all in recessed and
chamfered surrounds. Raised reverse-stepped gable copings; stepped-and-banded
end and ridge stacks.

Left return shows blocked stone-surround window and renewed 12-pane sash to
1st floor. Right return shows blocked small chamfered fire windows and
larger blocked window on 1st floor.

Interior not seen but much altered late C20.

C20 flat-roofed sunlounge at west end is not of interest.
