Gate lodge, piers and quadrant walls, c1830. Lodge rubble pebbledashed
with dressings; slate roof. Piers and walls ashlar. Lodge 1 storey,
3 bays. Chamfered plinth, angle pilasters, and cornice. Central
vertical-panelled door with Gothick fanlight under 4-centred arch;
gabled hood on large moulded corbels. Flanking 24-pane casements under
4-centred arches, in raised stone surrounds. Hipped roof; stepped and
corniced ridge stack with conjoined shafts. Left return to road shows
another similar window.

Monolithic gate piers with moulded pyramidal caps, linked by quadrant walls
with chamfered plinth and shallow gabled coping to similar end piers.
