Barn (now storage) and workshop. Late C18 barn and early C19 workshop. Squared
rubble with dressings. Barn has stone-flagged roof. Workshop has corrugated-
asbestos roof and stone chimney with brick top. Barn on rear of cottage with
workshop on right return. 2-storey, 2-bay barn: 2 replaced doors and first-
floor loading bay in flush surrounds with alternating jambs on rear; steeply-
pitched roof with coping at junction. 2-storey, 3-bay workshop: front facing
main road has 2 doorways with alternating jambs flanked by lean-to stone sheds
(shed at right has stone-flagged roof); steeply-pitched roof with chimney at
right rising through front pitch; altered openings on rear. Barn retains a
pair of upper crucks. Included for group value.
