9/12 Rose Cottage

Originally 2 cottages. C18. Whitewashed rubble walls with upper walls of
plastered cob. Scantle slate roof on the left and asbestos slate roof on the
right. Rendered chimney. 3 room plan, possibly originally 2 room cottage and
store with loft and 2 storeys. 3 window front, symmetrical on first floor.
Ground floor: window on left partly boarded with 3-pane window. Boarded door
to right. On right, a 4-pane casement window and a 16-pane centrally hung
casement window flank the plain boarded entrance door. On the first floor, a 4-
pane casement window is positioned between the left-hand window and door. An 8-
pane horizontal sliding sash window and 12-pane centrally hung casement window
are positioned above the right-hand ground floor windows. Rendered chimney on
the right. Interior not inspected.
