Farmhouse, circa early C18 with circa late C18 projecting wing to rear. Front
partly remodelled in mid-C20. Whitewashed rubble walls with thatched roof with
gabled ends. Large square stone stack on right-hand gable end. T-shaped plan,
original plan 2-cell with cross passage. 3rd room added by rear projection. 2
storeys, almost symmetrical 3 window front. Central door with glazed porch under
thatched canopy. Later extension partly blocking left-hand side. Wide 6-pane sash
window to right. 3 tall 8-pane sashes with eyebrow eaves. Interior with scratch
moulded beams and slightly chamfered reused lintel to fireplace on right. Front
enclosed by circa early C19 courtyard comprising converted cartshed and dairy with
retaining wall. Rubble stone with scantle slate and delabole slate roofs. Single
storey.
