SP 80 NW ELLESBOROUGH MISSENDEN ROAD

Lodge. 1838. By E.B. Lamb. Brick with stone dressings, fishscale tile roofs,
stone coped gables, and square brick chimney shafts, one pair of
shafts set diagonally. Tudor in style. One storey. N. front
has 2 bays, the gabled left bay having a 3-light leaded window with
taller central light and, coat of arms in stone plaque above. Right bay is
slightly set back and has projecting porch in angle with left bay.
This porch is gabled to front and has a 4-centred stone arch with
moulded spandrels and hoodmould. Right end has projecting bay with
gable and 3-light transomed casement. Small irregular wings to rear,
one with gable to road, the other of 2 storeys.
