Club. Probably mid to later C19. Killas rubble with granite dressings, slate roof,
brick chimneys. Small rectangular single-storey building; the 4-bay facade has a
plinth, a plain band, a parapet with flat coping, and rock-faced quoins; a round-
headed doorway in the 3rd bay, with altered door and fanlight, and 3 relatively
large round-headed 4-pane sashed windows, all these openings with rock-faced
long-and-short surrounds and triple keystones; and a plaque over the centre of
the band inscribed: "POOL BASSET INSTITUTE". One-pot chimneys at the gables.
