2/92 Barn approx 10 metres south-east
- of Uppincott Barton

GV II

Barn. Mid - late C19. Cob and rubble with some brick patching to the corners
(pastered on west facing front only); corrugated iron roof. Central opposing large
double doors originally full 2-storey height with haylofts. Plain, plastered front
with door-height reduced by C20 plasterboard. C19 ecclesiastical doors introduced
circa 1960, studded plank doors and ornate wrought-iron strap hinges. Single
buttress to right and small wooden ventilator slot above. Roof hipped each end.
Right end wall (to road) of rubble. Original interior largely intact with 6-bay
roof. Included for group value.
