Mid C19 building formerly the Grammar School. One storey coursed rubble with granite
dressings. Slate roof with central bell turret having weather vane. Crenellated
parapet with shield. Four 3-light mullioned and transomed windows with hood mouldings.
Central shield and gargoyles. One storey wings with half-hipped roofs to front.
These project to rear with a covered cloister on 3 sides. Three centred arches to
cloisters.
