SS30SW PYWORTHY CP

13/70 Haggaton Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Probably early C19. Painted stone rubble, hung with rag slates
on first floor. Hipped rag slate roof with clay ridge tiles. Axial stack
with small red brick shaft to right of centre.

Plan: Appears to be a 3-room plan main range, the centre and right hand
rooms heated fran an axial stack with back-to-back fireplaces, the left hand
room unheated and a doorway between the left and centre rooms. There is a
wing behind the left end and a single storey outshut at right angles to the
front left.

Exterior: 2 storeys. Asymmetrical 3-window south front. Small C19 2-light
casements with glazing bars, the first floor with small panes. Doorway to
left with panelled door and porch with gabled canopy. Single storey out-
building projecting on left.

Rear elevation not inspected but there is a wing on right.
