Late C16 manor house. Three unit plan with lobby entry and
original outshut to rear with three service rooms. Granary and
cheese room in C17 extension of two bays to west. Timber framed
with roughcast render; plain tile roofs. Large ridge stack and
C19 stack to west. Two storeys. Four first floor casement
windows, and three ground floor windows with one three-light
hung sash window with glazing bars. Main entrance has a C19
Panelled door; boarded door to granary. Interior has one large
cooking hearth with baking oven; sealed inglenook with C18
cupboards and five moulded ceiling beam to hall, with other
stop-chamfered beams. Good side purlin roof with curved wind
braces in each bay, and butt-purlin roof to granary. Pegs in
situ for shelves in cheese room. One door with cock's head
hinges.
