House. Mid to late C17, with some minor alterations of c.1900. Rendered probably
over stone rubble and cob, with gable-ended thatched roof. Rendered end stacks.
Plan and development: Late C17 two-room central-entrance plan (facing south), with
central entrance/staircase hall, integral end stack to left and external end stack to
right. Central full-height shallow projection to front. Continuous outshut at rear,
raised by one storey probably c.1900. Two storeys.
Exterior: Symmetrical 3-bay front with central break; small-paned wooden casements of
c.1900. Central doorway with c.1900 half-glazed 4-panelled door (lower panels side-
beaded flush and upper panels glazed). C20 hipped-roofed thatched rustic porch.
Interior: Remodelled c.1900, including staircase in entrance hall. Panelled doors
with moulded architraves. Both ground-floor rooms have picture rails. Right-hand
ground-floor room has fireplace of c.1900 with ceramic tiles and wooden chimney-
piece. First-floor rooms and roofspace not inspected.
