Willow Cottage

House, now two dwellings. Late C18 appearance. Coursed sandstone of mixed
tooling, possibly re-used. Pantiled roof with stone dressings, brick stacks,
tiled ridge. Viewley Cottage now clad with incised rendering. 2 storeys and
attic, 1 wide bay each. Off-centre paired 5-panel doors, Viewley Cottage in
tiny porch, Willow Cottage with long-bracketed hood. Late C19 4-pane sashes on
both floors, except for C20 3-light casement on ground floor of Willow Cottage,
which has extended stone lintels and cills. Pantiled roof dormers with deep
bracketed eaves soffits; late C19 sash to left, Yorkshire sash to right.
Slightly-swept roof has coping and prominent curved kneeler at left; rebuilt end
stacks. Included for group value.
