House, now 2 dwellings. Probably late C17. Very large coursed stone blocks;
pantiled roof with stone copings and kneelers, brick stacks. L-plan, the left
bay projecting and gabled. 2½ storeys, with basement at left, 3 bays, irregular.
Green Cottage, at right, has 6-panel door under segment-arched lintel.
Ground floor to right of this concealed by pent brick shed. To left Summer
Cottage has 6-panel door in wood architrave. No other openings on ground floor;
small left basement window. First floor left a small 12-pane sash with blocked
small opening above; right an inserted plain sash in enlarged old opening. Left
wing has 8-pane sash below and 12-pane above, possibly C18, on inner return.
Rebuilt end chimneys. Projecting brick shed to Green Cottage is not of
interest.
