Farmhouse. Circa late C17 remodelled in early C19. Plastered stone rubble with
slate-hung south-west gable end. Originally probably a 3-room and through or cross
passage plan with later reat outshuts, and remodelled with regular facade. 2 rear
lateral chimney-stacks and stack at south west gable end. 2 storeys. 3-window
range. Tripartite sashes with glazing bars. Pilastered doorcase to left of centre
with pediment and panelled and glazed door. Former shippon to right end, now part
of house, painted stone rubble with sashes and casements. Interior: chamfered
ceiling beam in centre room with one straight cut step. Early-mid C19 stairs
inserted into upper end of hall. Roof trusses have principals crossed at apices and
with side pegged lapped collars.
