House, formerly a farmhouse. Circa C17 with circa C18 wing forming L-shaped plan.
Stone rubble, partly rendered. Slate roof with gable end to east and hipped to
west. Two storeys. The original house is the south block with gable end to east and
two large stone rubble chimney stacks on south side, one projecting. The north west
wing was added in circa C18 and given a hipped roof and four window range to west,
now all C20 casements and wide C20 glazed door with large C20 wooden porch.
Plank door on north side of original wing. Small lean-tos on east end of south wing
and east side of east wing.
Interior: Two large straight-headed chamfered granite chimneypieces without stops,
on south wall. Probably surviving wing of a larger house.
