Two houses. Early C18 with later alteration. Coursed sandy limestone with pantile roof and brick stacks. Left part two low storeys, two bays with one-storey, three-window range at right, and one-storey, one-window end at far right. Six-panel left end door with small fixed light at left. Two-light, six-pane horizontal-sliding sash at right of door. Small four-pane fixed light in centre; right bay blank. Two-light, six-pane horizontal-sliding sash to first floor left. Painted timber lintels to all ground-floor openings. Centre and right end stacks. Thwaite Cottage, at right, is entered from the rear. All windows are two-light, horizontal-sliding sashes with small panes, except that at far right, which has large panes. Painted timber lintels to all windows. Centre ridge stack.
