11/109 Peace Cottage

GV II

House. Late C17 remodelled in mid C18. Limestone rubble, gritstone
dressings, graduated stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 2 x 2 bays. Quoins. Off-
centre board door in plain surround. Flanking and first floor almost
square 2-light windows with narrow flat-faced central mullion and
casements. A small rectangular chamfered window to first floor, left.
Corniced end stacks. Right return: remains of a shallow eternal stack to
left of centre. Porch and inserted windows to right. Included for group
value.
