Shown on OS aap as Lower Monkton Farmhouse. Farmhouse. Early C17, probably re-roofed, refenestrated and altered
internally late C19 - early C20. Rendered over rubble, shallow pitch double Roman tile roof, coped verges, brick
stacks gabled ends, 2 storeys, 1:1:1 bays, symmetrical facade, full height central porch, all openings except lancets
with rusticated jambs and hoodmoulds; first floor 3-light wooden iullianed windows with glazing bars, gabled
projections above with lancets flanking gabled 2 storey porch with 2-light mullioned window and lancet, groundfloor
4-light mullioned windows flanking 4 centred arch plank door, Interior not viewed; reputedly gutted by fire late C19 -
