SO 54 SW WITHINGTON CP EAU WITHINGTON

6/192 Barn and cow house
about 50 yards north-east
- of Eau Withington Court

GV II

Barn and cow house. Early to mid-C18. Timber-framed, weatherboarded with
corrugated iron roof, cow house with loft over built of rubble (roofless at
time of survey 1984). About ten bays aligned east/west. Square panels
mostly three from rubble plinth to wall-plate; weatherboarding in poor
condition on south side at time of survey (1984). Full-height cart entry
roughly central, doors broken on north side, masked by C20 lean-to on south
side. Doorway at west end near cow house. The cow house is of two levels
and has two doors to west and one to north, all with good pegged C18 surrounds;
further stable door to south. This barn lacked its roof to end bays and to
cow house (1984) but is otherwise largely intact.
