Fruit store and coach house. c1870. By W E Nesfield. Banded brick and
rubblestone with graduated stone slate roofs. 1-shaped in plan. 1 storey
with attic. Gabled coach-house wing on left with a 3-light casement window
to left of smaller casement both with segmental brick arches and same above.
In gable a slit vent. Fruit store range: 10 buttresses. On left a 3 light
casement with segmental brick arch; above,a canted hipped dormer with
2-light casement and side casements. To right external staircase with
round-arched openings in side under an open, hipped-roof verandah with splat
balusters. Board door. 4 small louvred dormers. Raised verges with
kneelers and ashlar coping. Ridge stacks. Left return of coach house:
coach openings, infilled.
