Former wool store. Probably late C17 or C18. Rubble side and
rear walls; front end jettied to upper floors with deeper
projection on left; slate-hanging on timber-frame;
weatherboard to top of gable and render on right; brick stack
towards rear on left. End-on plan probably 2 rooms deep. 3
storeys. Front end has wide doorway right of centre and
doorway to each floor above slightly left of centre; old
ledged doors. Left-hand return has wide window tucked under
the eaves. 1-window-range right-hand return has doorway on
right with original ledged doors. Visible slate-hung rear has
blocked gable window over full-width tripartite window with
deeper central 15-pane light and fixed light with glazing bars
to each floor on the left. INTERIOR: original floor structures
and oak roof structure with high pegged lapped collars.
