Pair of houses. Early or mid C19. Rendered front, lined to
imitate masonry; solid in ground storey at least. Slated roof.
Rendered chimneys on right side wall and on party wall. 2
storeys with garrets. Each house 1 window wide with
round-arched doorway to left of ground storey window. Late C20
flush and plank doors; fanlights with radial bars. 6-paned
sashes; recessed, concealed frames in ground storey. Moulded
flush frames above. Each house has a gabled dormer with
2-light wood casement: 6-paned lights at No 50, three-paned
ones at No 52. At right-hand end the upper storey of No 50
overlaps No.48, as if the latter had once extended over the
site of No 50.
