Pair of attached houses. c1820. Limestone ashlar with a slate
mansard roof and brick stacks, and a wrought-iron verandah.
Double-depth plan. Late Georgian style. 3 storeys, basement
and attic; 4-window range. Cornice and parapet. Steps up to
round-arched doorways to the margins with long, fluted
consoles to cornices, and moulded architraves, and leaded C20
fanlights above 6-panel doors, ground-floor French windows set
within blind round arches linked by impost bands, full-width
verandah with a curved roof, and plate-glass sashes. INTERIOR:
central, lateral stair case, plaster hall cornices and
panelled shutters.
