House, now offices. c1850. Limestone ashlar, lateral and party
wall stacks and a concrete tile hipped roof. Double-depth
plan. Italianate style.
Each of 3 storeys and basement; 2-window range. Middle window
block stepped forward, rusticated quoin strips and party wall
band, banded ground floor to a plat band, second-floor sill
band and deep timber bracketed eaves. End single-storey
porches have rusticated jambs to segmental heads with
vermiculated keys, and 2-panel doors. Inner 3-light bows have
flat heads with rounded corners, and stone balustrades; outer
ground-floor windows with rusticated voussoirs and raised
cornices. Similar heads above with panelled aprons, tripartite
inner windows, all with console cornices. Second floor has
paired inner windows, semicircular-arched heads and panelled
jambs and archivolts. Rusticated voussoirs to basement
windows. Plate-glass sashes, some margin bars. INTERIOR not
inspected.
