Mid/later C19. Classical. Stone, corner building of 3 storeys. 8 windows plus 4 to
north return in Crossley Street and one 1 to rounded corner. Shops with original
cornice and some pilasters remaining (painted). 1st floor windows set under semi-
circular arches with enriched tympana. Bracketed crowning cornice to slated roof.
Design matches that of Nos 25 to 33 on north side of Crossley Street.
Nos 17 to 33 (odd), No 12 Nos 18 to 22 even together with all the listed buildings in
Crossley Street, No 2 Wade Street, and No 1 (with South extension of White Swan Hotel)
White Swan Hotel, Princess Buildings, Princess Street and No 2 Crown Street form an
Important group.
