Small cottage, now a shop with accommodation over. C17 or
early C18 structure, altered. Whitewashed rubble walls, the
1st floor studded with large seashells; grouted slate roof now
covered with mastic and rendered chimney stack to right. 2
storeys 1 window. Two C20 plate glass windows flank
part-glazed door, all under old timber beam. Enlarged C20
window above. INTERIOR not inspected. The Royal Britannia
Hotel, Nos 3 & 4 and Nos 8-12 (consec) (qqv) form a group with
Nos 1 & 2 The Strand (qv).
