Clapper Bridge on road from Cold East Crossroads to Pudsham Down, about 670 metres north-east of Ruddycleave Farmhouse

Clapper Bridge across Blackslade Water. C18 or early C19. Granite. Bridge of 2
spans with abutments and centre pier of large granite blocks, these supporting heavy
granite lintels; centre pier has sharply pointed cutwater on each side. C20 road
metalling on top of bridge; simple C20 iron railing on each side, supported at
either end by a rough granite post.
