4/152 Sheep Dip 80 metres
south of Whitcombe
Farmhouse
GV II

Sheep-Dip. Late C18 or early C19. Tunnel under cart-track. East end
of tunnel has a dressed stone wall with a small elliptical arch, c.4 foot
high. Entrance is rebated to take a plate on the east side. Nest end of
tunnel has a round arch, c. 6 foot high. Tunnel approximately 15 foot long.
