Early C18 farmhouse of C17 origins. Mainly red brick, repaired
at eaves height, with timber framing in rear wall surviving from.
earlier building on site. c.1840 parallel, linked addition at
rear. Tiled roof with c.1840 end stack of gault brick. Two
storeys and attic with band between storeys. Central gabled
dormer, originally hipped. Symmetrical elevation of two
horizontal sliding sashes on either side of casement, all with
glazing bars and segemental headed arches. Similar arches and
sashes on either side of central doorway. Interior. Some
framing of original house is visible in rear wall. Chamfered
main beams. Early C18 inglenook to room to east.
