Stable block,now two houses.Formerly stables to The Palace.C17.Red brick with some half-timbering to rear,old tile roof.L plan.Two storeys and dormers. W front has three gabled dormers, floor band and Ground floor with three cut brick hood moulds and two
pairs of door pilasters with capitals and bases.One original door on S with later five-light fan.Blocked N door has remains of cut brick pediment over.Modern sash windows and leaded casements.Rear extension (Grooms Cottage) has half-timbered upper floor on
S.Large bressummer in centre for former cart entrance.Three-light,metal frame casements to both floors. Modern additions on rear.
