Inn, now house and garage. Late C18 - early C19; C20 alteration and
extension. Dressed sandstone front, coursed rubble to sides; pantile roof
with rebuilt brick stacks. Central-entry plan with rear service wing added.
2-storey, 2-window front with single-storey lean-to garage to left. C20
panelled house door flanked by 3-light, large-pane horizontal-sliding sashes
with painted lintels; similar windows to first floor. End stacks. Garage
has enlarged opening with renewed lintel. Right gable wall: 2-light,
horizontal-sliding sash to ground floor with 15 panes to each sash and iron
glazing bars. Thin timber lintel. Included for group value.
