Rectory, now house in grounds. Dated 1872. Rock-faced walls with lias stone
dressings and string-course. Clay tile roofs with stone gable-copings and
moulded kneelers. Entrance front has gabled bays at left hand front and at
centre over porch. Gable end at right hand end. Brick stacks with stone
plinths at left front and right hand end gables. Two storeys, 3 irregular
bays, left to right, ground floor sash window in stack embrasure, plate glass.
A thin light either side of stack above this, with trefoil head. Canted oriel
window over porch entrance, with trefoil-headed lights, cross-transomed, and
crenellated parapet over. Eay 3 has cross-transomed stone mullion, windows
with sashes. Porch at centre has a chamfered entrance-arch with segmental-
pointed head. Front door of plank-and-muntin type with 4-centred head. Garden
elevation: 1½ storeys. 3 bays, having cross-transomed windows of 3 lights,
3 lights, and canted bay to ground floor at right hand. Complete example
of High Victorian rectory, asymmetrical, with 'Perpendicular' style details.
