about 3 metres south of chancel of
G.V. Church of St. James the Great

Chest tomb. C18. Limestone. Flat top with moulded edge, moulded base,
inscriptions to all sides, south panel fallen away, north panel with reeded edge.
To Thomas Hathway, 1789 and other members of the family. In poor condition at
time of survey (October, 1984). One of a pair of monuments to the Hathway family,
the other (q.v.) being about 3 metres south west.
