Marked on Ordnance Survey map as Overton Cottages. House. Late
C17 with later additions, altered. Roughly coursed sandstone
rubble with slate roof. Cross-wing at left (west) has coped
gables and a rear gable chimney. 2 ridge chimneys on main
range to right. Cross-wing has one bay facing south, with
3-light chamfered mullioned windows which have C20 false
external shutters, and with a single-storey C20 gabled porch
to the right. Its left-hand return wall has a 3-light rebated
and chamfered mullioned window on both floors. The main range
adjoining to the right appears to be C19 and has 4 principal
bays, with rock-faced lintels to the windows, which are of
uPVC. At the right, and to the right of the 2nd bay, are uPVC
oriel windows.
