Lodge to former Bidston Court. c1891. By Grayson and Ould.
Brick with rendering to principal elevations with pargetted
panels on both floors. Bands of decorative tiles to roof. 2
storeys, 2-unit plan, the main front beneath gable. Side
entrance with weather hood carried on moulded brackets in
angle with projecting stack. Diaper decoration on stack, and
three fluted shafts. Similar chimney opposite. Shallow canted
bay Ipswich window in gable, and similar window in jettied
upper storey. The house was built as the lodge to Bidston
Court which was moved from its original site in 1929-31 and
re-erected at Frankby as Hill Bark.
