Pair of one-up-one-down cottages, now one dwelling. Dated 1788
on lintel of doorway to left; altered. Coursed squared
sandstone, felted stone slate roof (C20 metal pipe chimney).
Single-depth 2-unit plan. Two low storeys, 1+1 windows;
doorway at left end (now to through-lobby) with rectangular
lintel inscribed: M/R M/1788; doorway at right-hand end with
thin rectangular lintel; 2 square windows on each floor, with
flush sills and altered glazing. Forms group with Nos 15 & 17
(qv), Nos 19-23 adjoining to left (qv) and Nos 29 & 31
adjoining to right (qv).
