GV II

Farmhouse, now house. Late C17, remodelled in early C19, restored 1985. Coursed
limestone rubble; gabled stone slate roof; brick ridge and end stacks, and early
C19 stone external end stack finished in brick to left. 3-unit plan. 2 storeys;
4-window range. Elliptical stone arch-over C20 door to right of centre. Flat
stone arches over C20 horned sashes. Main C20 entry to left end wall. Rear:
unusual round stair-turret with conical roof; C20 extensions. Interior:
chamfered beams in outer rooms; open fireplace to centre; late C17 winder stairs
to rear.
