Farmhouse. C17. Timber framed. Faced with Flemish bond brick and
with plain tile roof. Two storeys. Entrance front: four bays, gabled
bay at left with French windows to ground floor and a 3-light casement
window above. To right of this are three recessed bays, the central
one having a doorway of 6 panels, the upper four glazed and the lower
2 flush panels with a gabled porch before. To either side are 3-light
ground floor casement windows with cambered relieving arches and to
the first floor at either side are 3-light casement windows. Rear:
C19 additions to the left hand side. At right is a gabled wing with 6
x 3 cells of uneven small framing on a deep brick plinth. Jettied
gable with ovolo moulded bressumer and scroll bracket to right hand
side. Small framing to the gable. Central doorway to ground floor
and single-light window at right and to the first floor are a central
and a 2-light window.
Interior: Chamfered ceiling beams to ground floor,ingle nook fireplace
with chamfered bressumer. Plank door with strap hinges. To the first
floor are further chamfered beams and exposed rafters.
