Bridge carrying drive to Curtisknowle House over lane to the estate village
of Curtisknowle. Circa 1830. Probably contemporary with drive bridge at
grid ref. 73635390 (qv) which is dated 1830. Local slate rubble segmental
arch with rough slate voussoirs and straight sided abutments. The
abutments project on the west side. Low parapets of vertical slate stone.
The lane is on a steep slope and the bridge spans a cutting in the slate
bedrock.
