GV II

Weavers houses, part of group. Late C18 to early C19. Hammer dressed stone.
Quoins. Stone slate roof (part turned) with gable copings on carved kneelers. Three
ashlar stacks. North elevation: 2 central doorways with one 4-light stone mullioned
window to left with 2 mullions removed, and one 3-light window to right. At first
floor level are one 2-light and one 3-light window to left, and one 2-light and one
4-light window to right. Two lights are blocked. South elevation (Nos 55 and 59):
one 4-light stone mullioned window to each dwelling, with 2 mullions removed from
No 55. At first floor level each dwelling has one 3-light and one 2-light window.
Recent extension to left of no interest.
