House, mid C17, with possible earlier core. 3-cell lobby entrance plan; 1 1/2
storeys and attics. Timber framed and rendered between exposed studwork.
Thatched roof with gabled and eyebrow dormers; axial chimney of red brick with
attached diagonally-set square shafts. C20 2- and 3-light casements with
leaded glazing. C20 plaintiled entrance porch and boarded door. Ovolo-moulded
first floor members and wind-braced clasped purlin roof at parlour end only.
Substantial unmoulded framing and first floor joists at service end. Possibly
an altered 2-cell core of C15 or C16, with parlour cell added to left-hand end
of house in C17.
