Early to mid C19; a building is shown on this site on a "Plan of Lyme Regis and
Environs 1841;" later additions and alterations eg to fenestration of street
front. Garden front in 2 sections. Left hand section. of 3 storeys and attic
with basement. Slate hipped roof with ball finial. Shallow eaves. Flanking
stacks. Rendered front. 2 window bays. On 2nd and 1st floors, French casements
with rectangular fanlights; shutters within; steps lead up-to-the left hand casement.
Lean-to conservatory to left hand end. Right hand section of 3-storeys on lower
ground. Similar elevation. Hipped slate roof. Rendered front. 2 window bays.
Sash windows; lst floor sashes very large; glazing bars intact to ground floor
windows and to upper part of 2nd floor window. Once had a garden in the Italian
style.
