5/11 Sundial in the
Churchyard of St John
the Baptist.

Sundial: plate dated 1596, baluster late C18. Buff sandstone.
Square base carries a tall column baluster with a moulded cap in a
different stone. Simple copper plate and gnomon has inscription GD
1596 and 2 sets of lines and numbers, one modern in style, implying
the plate has been brought in or reset.
