5/29 Barn 10m to south of Flat

GV II

Barn, dated 1676. Hammer dressed stone, ashlar quoins, stone slate roof. Wide
south facing gable with single-aisle to east has segmental arched doorway with
composite jambs to aisle with arch headed ventilators arranged progressively, 1
over 2 over 3 over 4. Right hand return wall has Tudor arched doorway with
chamfered surround the lintel inscribed "EMG 1676" set within a tressure.
