Granary, now store and partly disused. Early and mid C19. Of roughly coursed
rubble with pantiled roofs. Four storeys in height with hoist doors at each level.
An external stone staircase to the south-west admits to the first floor: an iron
stairway to the north-west has recently been removed. Quayside Granary is visually
prominent in one of the best known views of Berwick-upon-Tweed from Berwick Bridge
(g.v.) towards Quay Walls. Included for group value.
